To our GSKC community,
Karting has always been more than just racing. It’s early mornings, long drives, hard work in the pits, friendships built over years, and families giving up their weekends because they believe in something special. It’s where future champions begin, where lifelong memories are created, and where our community comes together through a shared passion.
Every one of us — drivers, parents, volunteers, officials, clubs, and supporters — plays a part in shaping the future of our sport. The strength of karting in Australia has never come from one person or one committee; it has always come from people willing to step forward, contribute, and care deeply about where we are heading.
We all know that no organisation is perfect. There will always be challenges, differing opinions, and moments where we need to improve. But progress does not come from standing on the sidelines. It comes from people getting involved, sharing ideas, offering support, and working together toward something bigger than ourselves.
The future of karting in Australia is not someone else’s responsibility — it belongs to all of us.
So today, I encourage every member of our community: get involved. Share your ideas. Support your clubs. Volunteer your time. Encourage new families. Have conversations that build rather than divide. Be part of creating the sport we want our children and future generations to inherit.
Because if we all take one small step forward together, the future of karting in Australia can be stronger than ever.

Karting doesn’t happen without the incredible volunteers and officials who give their time to keep our sport running safely, fairly and professionally.
Whether you’re:
✅ brand new and keen to get involved
✅ a parent wanting to better understand the rules
✅ a current official looking for a refresher
✅ or someone who simply wants to give back to your club and the sport
…these sessions are for you!
More officials means:

It’s also a fantastic way to meet great people who are passionate about the sport and be part of the action from a whole new perspective.
