Our thanks to the people of Whittlesea for showing their continued support for the WCMF festival on Saturday and to those who travelled from afar and visited or returned to our great township. It was great to see some of you camped out at the showgrounds and then wake to a Whittlesea sunrise. A huge thanks to our committee admin and event volunteers who worked tirelessly with passion in their hearts from setting up infrastructure, hosting our information tent, hosting our kichen and green room and looking after the sound crew to overall co-ordination of our event operations, pack down and clean up alongside the Whittlesea Scout Group. Our gratitude also extends to our major supporter City of Whittlesea and other community sponsors who gave generously through in-kind or financial support. Every bit helps! Our appreciation and thanks also goes to the Whittlesea Tennis Club, Whittlesea Cricket Club, trade and food vendors, carnival crew and St John Ambulance. Also to the light and sound engineers, photographers, our MC, the line up of artists who helped foster community connection through their performances.
We do hope you will return again next year plus we welcome hearing from additional community groups, sponsors and volunteers who'd like to get involved - We'll be back in 2027 if you are! - The first Saturday in February.
