Flinders Island Running Festival The Flinders Island Running Festival is an annual event held on Flinders Island, Tasmania. We're back on for 2026!

Registration and race kit collection: 4:30 pm to 7:30pm - Pick up your bibs, vouchers, t-shirts.

Pasta Buffet: 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm ($35 Adults, $15 Kids) - There will be selection of pastas and sauces, with dietaries catered for. Other food and drinks available for purchase.

Race briefing: 6:00pm - This is relevant for all participants and support crews.

3km Glow Run: 6:15 pm - Head torches and glow paint are encouraged!

Running feels a little different when your backdrop is Flinders Island. 🏃‍♀️🌿

From coastal trails and rugged ranges to quiet country roads and ocean views, the Flinders Island Running Festival is as much about the journey as it is the finish line.

Choose from a marathon, the 25 km or 11 km courses, join the fun Glow Run, enjoy the Sunday recovery run, or simply cheer from the sidelines. It's a weekend that brings the whole community together.

Not a runner? No worries. Grab a spot along the course, soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the spectacular scenery and give the runners a well-earned cheer as they pass by.
