🌟 Young Riders Have Rights — On and Off the Field 🌟

At Equestrian Victoria, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported in our sport — whether they’re in the arena, at the stables, or online.

Being part of equestrian sport today means connecting through team apps, group `chats and social media. That’s why it’s so important that our online spaces reflect the same values we uphold in person: respect, safety and fair play.

💛 Young riders have the right to:
• Be treated with respect, online and offline
• Participate in sport free from bullying, harassment, or abuse
• Speak up and get support if something doesn’t feel right
• Enjoy positive, safe experiences when connecting with their sport community

If a young person ever experiences online abuse, help is available. Visit eSafety.gov.au/sport for easy steps on recognising, reporting and managing unsafe online behaviour.

Let’s work together to condemn harmful behaviour and help every young rider feel confident, safe and supported. 🐴✨

📣 Jumping Victoria Strategic Plan – Now Available

Thank you for your patience while the Jumping Victoria Committee finalised this important piece of work 🙌

We’re excited to share that the Jumping Victoria Strategic Plan is now available, outlining the future direction and priorities for our discipline here in Victoria.

This plan is designed to guide the growth, development, and long-term success of show jumping, supporting our riders, clubs, officials, and wider community at every level, from grassroots through to high performance.

It reflects our commitment to building stronger pathways, enhancing opportunities, and continuing to elevate the sport across the state.

As an adult involved in sport, you have a responsibility to ensure everyone involved in sport is treated with respect and dignity. Remember: As an adult, you are a role model to children and other participants. Lead by example to make sport more safe, fair and fun for everyone.
