Reflections of the last 3 days, where do I start? With heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported me over the last 9 months in undertaking the horse section of the Wentworth Show. The stewards, you are what makes this show great, your enthusiasm, efforts, attention to detail and passion to put on an amazing day, section and ring for your competitors is like nothing I have ever seen and it shows on every smiling face and with every laughter. Thankyou for answering my questions, Liz answered a million lol, sending photos, ringing and offers of help because I felt so supported the entire way. To the judges who travelled from near and far, thankyou for your outstanding service and professionalism, fun and laughter, the competitors were singing your praises all day. To the sponsors, wow, wow, wow, the generosity was second to none and we can't thankyou enough. To the stewards who stepped in, swapped rings and for some this was the first time ever stewarding, thankyou for stepping out of your comfort zone to support the judges and competitors. To the show committee for the unwavering support and offers of help, I am deeply grateful. The spectators who jumped in and helped, couldn't have done it without you! To my family for travelling from Newcastle to assist at the event over the 3 days, I am super grateful, Kahlee is still entering results as I write this๐ And to my team in the shed! What can I say, legends! To Julie for spending an extremely long night stuffing envelopes with money, Alisha for jumping in at anytime, Sharni and Em there are no words๐ The competitors, you are your equine friends are what it's all about! Thankyou for entering, thankyou for showing your passion, I hope the show was everything you wanted it to be. To anyone I may have missed, I am grateful to have had you help. Here's to a fantastic 2025 show!! Everyone take a bow ๐๐
