One hundred years ago, 18 competition classes, a handful of entries, and one very impressive pound cake started something special at the Royal Adelaide Show.
Today, Cookery has grown to 188 classes, and classics like jams, scones, damper and plum pudding have never left. A century of home cooks, bakers and makers, all sharing what they love most.
Over the course of its existence, Cookery has remained one of the most beloved events at the Royal Adelaide Show, popular with competitors and visitors alike!
