Well what another amazing Gravel Grinder event yesterday. The weather conditions were the most challenging that we have ever experienced in the 7 years that this event has been running, strong winds and heat. Well done to every rider, 95 of you, who took part and made it back to Watheroo. The wind did eventually drop out and the evening was spectacular. The sumptuous meal was enjoyed by all and we danced the night away to the Tenindewa Tossers.
Our committee would like to thank everyone who took part yesterday in the Gravel Grinder Challenge. The riders of course were amazing but our willing volunteers who man the check points, put out the signs, set up the bar, set up the pavilion, sweep the rides, MC, prepare our meal, we couldn’t run this event with out you. 👏
Thanks also to all of the support crews in vehicles and our community who come back to Watheroo to enjoy the festivities.
