As part of Jumpers and Jazz in July, local author Susan Mackie is hosting two fantastic events at the Warwick Hotel on Thursday 23 July, bringing together some of Australia's best-loved authors for a day filled with stories, laughter and great conversation.

Join Susan Mackie as she chats with fellow best-selling authors .quinn.author .author and about their writing journeys, publishing experiences and latest releases.

Enjoy a delightful morning tea, barista-made coffee, plenty of laughs and the chance to purchase signed paperbacks.

🍷📚 Dinner with the Authors
🕕 6:00pm – 9:00pm

In the evening, settle in for an intimate two-course dinner hosted by Susan Mackie alongside Fiona McArthur, Stella Quinn, Cathryn Hein, Heather Reyburn and Leanne Lovegrove.
Expect book trivia, prizes, behind-the-scenes stories and a wonderful evening celebrating books and the people who write them.

FORTY DAYS UNTIL TREE YARNBOMBING BEGINS // It's time to start getting excited about Warwick Art Gallery's Yarn Bombed Tree exhibition, only forty days away! Here's a throwback to one of the exceptional entries from 2022 and winner of the Free Choice category that year. This artwork was created by residents of the Oak Tree Retirement Village, simply called The Wattle Tree.

Affectionally called Tree Jumpers, the artworks will be ready to enjoy from the 16th to the 26th of July during the Jumpers and Jazz in July festival. Keep an eye out for more throwbacks as we count down to the 2026 festival.

🐙 Our dedicated Yarntopians are hard at work on “Submerged,” and with so many pieces to assemble, they could use eight arms each!

🧶 Thank you to Bendigo Woollen Mills for supplying the yarn that crafted our stars: the octopus and the kraken. Your support is much appreciated. 🌟

These impressive creatures were created by Leanne Olivotto with patterns by the talented Crafty Intentions.
