MADE AND PLAYED IN AUSTRALIA
An Aus Music Festival is being planned by a team of volunteers in Warrnambool. The first festival will be from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 2015. The theme for the first Festival is “Under the Milky Way at Warrnambool”. The vision is to create a vibrant “must attend” music festival to attract people of all ages who want to share and celebrate great Australian

music. This will be an authentic, self-sustainable cultural event; relevant to our region, history and environs. Following two years of planning and consultation the Committee has decided to use an Australian music theme - which will include a range of Aus music genres - and focus on music that is “made and played in Australia”. This will be a celebration of our rich music heritage and history, and at the same time, will provide an event to share, celebrate, support and promote contemporary Australian music.
