2007 - The Lucky Towel (St Patrick's Day)
2008 - Terrigal Towel XIII, The Reggae Hat
"Why Reggae Hat? Well maybe this theme will get us some sunshine. Others will say its cause we've been so laid back with the
organisation this year. Either way, whatever happens "every little
thing, is gonna be alright"
This year Terrigal Beach is booked, so we're moving 1km north to
Wamberal Beach. It was held here once before in 1996. This year the party will be held at:
the Terrigal Country Club,
64 Dover Rd Wamberal
We have our own venue ("the Sports Lounge"- feeling kinda sporty?) and our own bar. Amanda King will be spinning the tunes, wit da reggae flavour. There'll be a prize for the best reggae outfit."
2009 - Terrigal Towel XIV, The Interstellar Hat. "2009 is the Year of Astronomy, so we're heading to the stars and taking the towel with us- Don't Panic! After Wamberal Beach treated us to such a wonderful two days last year, we're going to trust our luck again. For the first time there willl be a tournament disc- a collectors delight! This will be a full-colour disc."
2010 - Terrigal Towel XV, The Terry Towel (Party venue: Terrigal Bowling club)
2011 - Terrigal Towel XVI, Good vs Evil
2012 - Terrigal Towel XVII, The End of the World
"March 3-4th. 2012 is the final year of civilization according to reliable ancient sources, so playing the final, last-ever, best-ever Terrigal Towel is a must! (its pure rumour that we already booked Wamberal SLSC for next year, and besides, who's going to bill us the cancellation fee?)
This year we are going for a new dinner and party venue on Sat night- Terrigal SLSC. We get the whole place to ourselves, with bar staff included. We've got Barry's Spit Roast serving up dinner, then a DJ til 11.30pm, then onto the Beach Bar across the road for final party at the end of the universe. You won't live to regret it!"
