The River & Wren Market is a beautiful indoor country market held six times a year in Wagga Wagga in NSW, Australia. River & Wren offers a diverse range of the very best on-trend handmade, homemade and homegrown that the region has to offer and hosts more than 110 market shops at each market and regularly attracts approximately 6,000 visitors. The market is a place where the community comes together to enjoy the social, sensory and retail therapy of a fun, friendly and happy artisan market.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO ALL THE DADDIES! 💙

Today we celebrated the dads. The stepdads. The grandads. The bonus dads. The foster and adoptive dads. The dads-to-be. The father figures. The mums doing both jobs. The dads we were lucky enough to spend today with, and the ones we missed.

And, of course, the Market Dads…

The gazebo carriers.
The trailer packers.
The coffee fetchers.
The child wranglers.
The bag holders.
And the long-suffering legends who hear “I just need ONE more thing from the car” approximately 47 times before 10am. 😂

Including our very own Rob, who has probably carried, packed, shifted, fixed, loaded, unloaded and been volunteered for more River & Wren jobs than he ever technically agreed to. 😂💙

We hope you were thoroughly spoiled today, ate far too much, and managed to put your feet up for at least a little while.

Enjoy what’s left of your annual leave, gentlemen…

Tomorrow, we need the gazebo packed away. 🤣

WAGGA… WHAT. A. BIRTHDAY. 🎈🎂

Our little River & Wren turned 12 today and apparently you all decided the appropriate way to celebrate was to descend on the Showground in your THOUSANDS. 😂

The crowds were huge. The car parks were fuller than full.
And we’re fairly certain some of you parked so far away you nearly needed an Uber to reach the front gates. 🚗💨

From the bottom of our very full hearts, THANK YOU for coming out and celebrating with us.

Thank you for wandering the halls, chatting to our makers, supporting small businesses and making our stallholders smile.

And what an epic birthday party it was, complete with..

It was busy, noisy, colourful, slightly chaotic and completely wonderful.

But the very best part was seeing so many of you walking away carrying bags from our stallholders.

That is what makes days like today matter.

You'll find 100+ traders with everything from sauce to homewares to cake to jewellery to art to plants to snacks. (Yep, we’ve come a long way from just 55 at our very first market in 2014.)

When you join us, remember we're meeting on Wiradjuri land.

River & Wren is turning 12. TWELVE. That's like 84 in dog (*ahem* market) years.

We're celebrating by filling the Wagga Showground with 100+ incredible traders and inviting every single one of you to come along and join us.

There will be handmade things. There will be homemade things. There will be homegrown things. There will (obviously) be food vendors. There will not be a birthday cake because it's really hard to choose a flavour a few thousand people will like (besides Emma is gluten free so that's too hard basket and wildly over budget).

Entry is free. Everyone's invited. Come celebrate with us, 'cause the market is practically your baby too.
