As a Sri Lankan-Australian writer whose work is shaped by her rich cultural heritage and lived experiences, Ayesha’s storytelling explores themes of identity, belonging, and the resilience of women across cultures.

THE SISTERS OF SERENDIB brings forth the real and raw themes of the asylum seeking experience to readers in a gentle and honest way.
Ayesha’s latest release follows her award-winning debut novel, ‘Untethered’ in 2023.

Meet Ali Lowe () at your 2026 Riverina Readers Festival ☁️🩵

Ali grew up in the UK, with a notepad and pen in hand, imagining all types of mystery plot lines and devouring Agatha Christie novels.

She gained a classics degree before moving to London, then Sydney where she worked in print media. In 2019, she broke into the Australian writing scene with ‘The Trivia Night’, which is described as “insanely addictive”.

Ali’s 2026 publication, ‘The Second Wife’ is dripping with scandal, secrets, grandeur and greed!
