Carefully considered decision -
Given the uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus which has reached pandemic level in Australia and the risk of it expanding into previously unaffected areas, organisers of Kurrajong’s Sunday on the Green have made the decision to postpone the event until there can be greater certainty of protecting people who attend.
This decision is based on advice from authorities regarding the need to slow the spread of this virus through the use of social distancing. Kurrajong feels this is a responsible course of action, albeit disappointing.
The event was to be held as part of Thomas Bros Wagga Wagga Takes Two and entrant Brett Hull and mentor Kylie Daly are naturally disappointed but support this responsible course of action. The event was to support the ongoing development of the Hildasid Farm, a Kurrajong initiative for the community.
Planning for the event has included construction of a permanent stage in the farm hayshed, which has been strongly supported by Creative Outdoors and More, Crouches Transport, Supermix, Daryl Burgess, Loam and Stone and Wholesale Sleeper Co.
Kurrajong will make contact with ticket holders in the coming days.
