Coona Signs and Print have emerged from the closure of Race Art Australia.

I'm doing limited signage, decal and general print work from my new home at Coonabarabran in NSW.

Jump over and like the page and give us a call for a chat anytime.

We don't do race bikes any more but will continue the support for the QLD Junior Cup initiative for 2024 and possibly beyond.

If you're travelling or touring within Central NSW, drop in to the Getaway Tourist Park for a coffee, a chat or a stay. If you are on 2 wheels, we have a large undercover area to garage your pride and joy while you rest up and enjoy life.

Well it's the end of another of life's Journeys as we close the doors on Race Art Australia Pty Ltd this week after 12 years of self employed signage bliss!
It's time to move on and start a selfish lifestyle revolving around me (and my kids and grand-kids of course).
I'm not selling the business as I really don't need the issues of training a new owner and receiving ongoing calls about what to do and how did I do this or that 🤪.
Customer specific artwork that they have paid for will be transferred to them.

My last job to finish this week is the Race Bike decals for the QLD Junior Cup for 2024. This is a gift from not just the business, but me and my kids toward the future of Junior road racing growth in Queensland.

Things are on the move as the first round of the QLD Junior Cup edges closer!

We're well under way to completing 24 sets of decals for the race bikes, including spares to ensure they are always looking 'on point' on and off track.

How good is it to see such a range of sponsors come on board from our National and State controlling bodies, to Qld racing clubs, National and local businesses.

Needless to say, the move to seriously develop Junior Road Racers in Queensland is proving to be a popular and well supported initiative.

Ormeau RFS have opened their 5 star facility to locals in need this week.
What an awesome effort by the volunteers who are also out assisting the clean-up work in the area.
We're proud to have been a supplier to the team and their unique RFS themed kitchen.

New Qld Junior Cup (QJC) a new opportunity to go Junior Road Racing

A brand-new junior road race development series will provide a smooth and affordable pathway towards MotoGP for 12 Queenslanders in 2024, as the inaugural Queensland Junior Cup (QJC) powers into life.

Designed by Motorcycling Queensland in conjunction with Motorcycling Australia, the series is based on the extremely successful Oceania Junior Cup, which for five years has provided a stepping stone to the world stage for aspiring juniors.

MQ has secured 12 Yamaha R15 V4 race bikes with which to provide 12 11-U16 riders a unique, but fully inclusive showcase for their talents, complete with coaching and mentoring available.

“We’re very excited about the QJC’s potential as an effective way to nurture aspiring road racers,” said Motorcycling Queensland CEO Kim Rowcliffe. “This proven formula of combining on-track competition and off-track education, while streamlining expenses should work exceptionally well in state level road racing and we’re very proud to be bringing it to life in 2024.”

Motorcycling Australia CEO, Peter Doyle, is delighted to see the Oceania Junior Cup concept being adopted in Queensland.

“We’ve always been passionate about creating new pathways for aspiring road racers to not only nurture and develop the fundamentals of race craft, but also building vital off-track skills that will hold them in good stead as they continue their careers domestically and internationally.

“In 2024, the first OJC graduate will be competing in the Moto3 world championship, and with the Queensland Junior Cup we now have another brilliant development program to foster our next wave of road racing superstars.”

The Queensland Junior Cup will be a 6-round series running alongside Queensland’s state and regional championships in SEQ and NQ, and, has been driven by the passion of well-known Qld Road Race enthusiast Mark McGregor.

Not quite the whole Race-DNA 300 Production class fleet here, but these and more will be at Tailem Bend this weekend for Team riders competing in the final ASBK - Australian Superbikes round for 2023.

We maintain an affordable and simple standard decal image for the fleet that has distinctive Team recognition on and off track.
