whooooo's ready for the Christmas season?
When I first started decorating Cookies, many rotations of the earth ago, Owls were the popular theme. ( Anyone remember this trend ? if so, you have been decorating as long as me then ! )
I was this week, reminded how much I actually liked this theme, so here is a wee Hoot.

TICKED OFF.
A wicked hoot,hoot clock.
Dark chocolate fudge, 3d cookie clock created with everything thrown at it.
Royal icing wall cladding, fondant roofing tiles, isomalt windows and clock face( that was fun).
The fascia and clock base was coloured using World of Cake Metallic spray in Graphite. An absolute must for this season of Halloween gloom and styling. It is so moody !
Im only missing a wafer paper ghost.. ok. now that I said this, Im off to fashion one.

The Animal Nursery gained a 3rd placing and a high mark at this years Royal Melbourne Show.
This Jumbo 30cm X 30cm cookie was created using royal Icing, fondant, wafer paper and handpainting.
