💙 Remembering John Rees 💙
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our much-loved parkrun community member, John Rees.
John was a familiar and friendly face at Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun. Whether he was out walking the course or volunteering.
His kindness, support and commitment to parkrun will be deeply missed. John wasn’t just a participant or a volunteer — he was part of the parkrun family.
Our thoughts are with John’s family, friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Thank you, John, for being part of our parkrun journey. You will be missed, but never forgotten. 💙
From all of us at Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun,
Rest peacefully, John. 🕊️
