We managed to get a few more lights packed away this afternoon between these pockets of rain, yay!
We've had 200mm of rain in the last 24hrs. I'm expecting the ducks to arrive any minute! 🦆🦆🦆🌨️
Don't be deceived by the green grass, it's so sodden by the rain, the lights are getting the wheelbarrow treatment to the shed instead of in the back of the ute!

We’re slowly packing away our lights here at Lights on Shetland.
We really wanted to do a New Year’s show for you all, but maybe next year. The rain is being a problem child 😂

We managed to pack away our big Christmas Tree, Candy Canes and the garden light tubes today, but this rain is still hanging around and makes its a little slow to pack away 🌧️ We'll do a little more tomorrow again.

There will be no lights on tonight folks. Unfortunately, the front parking area is currently flooding at our place. 🌧️

Apologies to anyone hoping to catch one last look.

We had a fantastic lights season this year, especially with the rain holding off for us until now.
Thanks so much for all the support and love this season! We loved having you here.

We were lucky to be visited by a group of VIPs tonight. I didn't know I needed to bring out the red carpet!!

🎄Merry Christmas 🎄

This week will be some of our busiest nights and we're super excited to see you all.

Some helpful info below before you head out tonight.

🎅🏼 A speaker playing the show music will be out front for those who are on foot.

🎅🏼We'll be handing out glow sticks each night from 7:30pm until they run out in our driveway. Just look for us wrapped in Christmas lights.

🎅🏼Don't park in or block driveways and PLEASE drive to the conditions.

🎅🏼Remember to turn off your car headlights if you are watching the show from the prime parking spots that are facing our house, but remember to turn them back on when you leave!!
