Shaped by hand, inspired by the rainforest and made to bring a little artistry into everyday life.

Earthling Studio πŸ«–

Nestled amongst the rainforest of Beechmont in the Scenic Rim, Earthling Studio is the creative partnership of Greg and Noela Murphy.

Their small-batch pottery studio and gallery reflects the things they value most – creativity, craftsmanship, lifestyle and a deep connection to the natural environment that surrounds them. Together they produce a diverse collection of wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics, each carefully crafted and beautifully finished.

From functional pieces such as bowls, mugs, platters and teapots to decorative and sculptural works, their pottery combines two distinct yet complementary styles. The influence of the surrounding rainforest can be seen throughout their work, with organic forms, textures and colours inspired by the landscape they call home.

Every piece is designed to be both beautiful and useful, bringing artistry into everyday life.

Come and discover earthling studio at Bush Christmas and find a handcrafted piece of pottery to use, enjoy and treasure for years to come.

Finding beauty in the everyday, one colour, texture and brushstroke at a time.

Sandra Miller Art 🎨

For Sandra Miller, painting is a continual journey of exploration and discovery. An emerging artist based on the Darling Downs, Sandra has spent the past several years experimenting with different styles, subjects and mediums as she develops her artistic voice.

Her creative journey began with large, heavily textured abstract works before expanding into portraiture and mixed-media pieces. More recently, she has turned her attention to still life paintings, particularly fruit and vegetables, while continuing to embrace the rich colours and layered textures that characterise her work.

Although she enjoys working across a variety of mediums, including watercolour, collage and printmaking, acrylics and oils remain her preferred choice. Through each new piece, Sandra seeks to challenge herself creatively while celebrating the beauty found in everyday subjects.

Come and discover Sandra Miller Art at Bush Christmas and enjoy Sandra's colourful celebration of the beauty found in everyday life.

Born from a few lost lures and turned into more than 15 years of handcrafted Aussie fishing gear.

Sudsy's Spinnerbaits and Lures 🎣

Sometimes the best ideas come from necessity. For Greg Mifsud, it all began when his children repeatedly cast expensive fishing lures into nearby trees.

Rather than replacing them, Greg decided to make his own. More than 15 years later, Sudsy's Spinnerbaits has earned a loyal following among anglers across Australia. Every lure is individually handcrafted, from the poured and powder-coated heads through to the carefully assembled skirts, combining years of fishing experience with an understanding of Australian waterways and native fish species.

Greg's greatest satisfaction comes not from catching fish himself, but from seeing photos sent by customers who have landed the fish of a lifetime using one of his handmade lures.

Come and discover Sudsy's Spinnerbaits and Lures at Bush Christmas β€” a great find for the keen angler on your Christmas list.
