GNB 2025 Update

We hope everyone is having a cracker start to the year, finding ways to get outdoors and escape the heat!
You may have noticed the Mountain Bike route remains closed to vehicles and is expected to be closed for at least another 12 months while structural repairs are completed on the Mt Edith - Kauri Creek Road loop. After much consideration, we have decided not to proceed with the event this year, due to not being able to incorporate this iconic mountain bike leg. Fingers crossed road repairs will be completed ready for the event in 2026!

Have a go at this legend! Murray finished Grin N Bear It with a strong run leg this year, followed by a win at Turtle and the Lamb. He is running strong and in the last two standing at Smurf’s Backyard Ultra. Get down to Smithfield mountain bike park and give him a cheer and some more race treats !

Here goes a big thank you to all that came out to Camp Barrabadeen, Lake Tinaroo over the weekend to support GnB 2024 - the third and final event in the 2024 NQ Multisport Series. We feel so lucky to have the chance to put on this incredible event and share it with such enthusiastic people, just getting out there living their best life in the outdoors with big smiles all around. Mother nature threw us a couple of curve balls this year with the usual Mt-Edith loop closed due to significant flood damage, and a full dam late in the dry season... but in crisis comes opportunity, and it takes more than a bit of rain to stop the tough NQ multi-sporters that completed the event this weekend. Well done to all and we look forward to seeing you again next year! Check out the Adventure Sport NQ page for results from the weekend coming soon.
