The boys were on Ch9 to talk about all things MINIS last night. Having 2 AFL players from different clubs driving this grassroots movements has been good for Football. Keeping young kids active, healthy and getting the moving.

NEXT GEN MINIS x TIWI ISLANDS 🌴

We are taking MINIS to Tiwi Islands, which is the home to some of the most passionate football lovers in Australia. Has a population of roughly 3000 people and has produced 3 Norm Smith Medalist from some of the proudest football families of all time. Their history dates back 40,000 years with creation stories relating their presence on the islands at least 7,000 years before the present day.

Football is their way of life and for the first time, the young Indigenous children as young as 2 will now have their very own football program. 🏉

We are extremely passionate about this venture and this is our way of giving back to the game. It’s about inclusion, about education, about respect - but more importantly, it’s about bridging the gap in society that currently exists.

For us here at Next Gen Minis, this is so much bigger than football. From the whole family here at Next Gen Minis, we cannot wait to launch in October 🌴 🏉 ❤️
