🚨 Bad news, the puddles have gotten deeper overnight, with the frost bridge being inaccessible now with the lake taking it out, we now have no choice but to cancel.

Ok so there’s been plenty of rain about this week and that usually spells flooding, good news is the lake hasn’t flooded, yet, and while there are plenty of puddles I am happy to report we are currently ON for tomorrow.

You will get wet feet as you u leash the inner child and splash through long puddles from the first bridge to the second and from the toilet block to half way.

There is more rain expected overnight and that could change this decision so stay tuned for updates around 6:30 tomorrow morning.

24 hours to parkrun, here's everything you'll need to know for event #437:
Location: Picnic Point Reserve, Tuggerah Pde, The Entrance
Run Director: Meg

Start Time: 7am
Pre Event Briefing: 6:55am
First Timers Welcome: 6:50am
Volunteer Check In & Set Up: 6:30-6:45am

Expected Weather: Mild start around 15, wind around 25km/h, 80% humidity and low UV index. Good news is rain is due to clear around 4am, so if all stays to timetable we should be dry during our event.

Expected Course Condition: We're looking at puddles, some leaf matter and potentially slippery surfaces. We expect that grass either side of the course will be wet and slippery, so better to proceed through puddles to keep you safe.

Parking: Lots of parking within the Picnic Point Reserve carpark and plenty of street parking on Tuggerah Parade and adjoining streets.

We are jut needing someone willing to do set up next week, who can take everything home at the end of tomorrow.

Please note: if we don’t fill pre event set up our June events will be cancelled as everything will be in my garage while I’ll be travelling for work.
