Partnership agreed in the room… and then silence hits.

At Noosa Business Connect, we’ve seen how quickly good intentions fade when there’s no shared plan. So we use a simple Follow-up Funnel: within 24 hours, the introducer and the member who will collaborate get contacted with a tight, referral-ready note.

Use this wording:
“Hi [Name] — we met at Noosa Business Connect. We’d love to introduce you to [Partner]. We thought your [specific service/outcome] could align with what they’re looking for. Are you open to a 15-minute chat next week?”

Then we run a 2-week check-in cadence:
Day 3–5: confirm the meeting time or next step
Day 10–14: ask for feedback + offer a second intro if needed

For every person you meet, we send:

(1) A 25-word recap of how we can help.
(2) A specific introduction we can make within 48 hours (“If you ever need X, I’ll connect you with Y”).
(3) One genuine personal note from the conversation.

Do all three stages before the next meeting, and you become the ‘go-to’ connecter.

Before you pitch, take 20 seconds: introduce yourself, then ask one specific question.

Try this stop-scroll script:
“I’d love to learn what you’re focused on this quarter—what’s the outcome you want?”

What not to do:
- Launch into a monologue about your services before you’ve learned anything.
