We held a great “No Frills Reunion” on Thursday the 16th October. Started with a long lunch. Over 60 attendees. Coming from as far as Adelaide and Queensland, North and Siuth Coast of NSW and Canberra. Great Some partied until the pub closed.
Bri g No Frills it was just fellowship. No speeches. Just everyone chatting and mixing. Friday night saw an impromptu dinner at the Termo and Sat morning a tour if the school was organised by Roz Widdows which was a real eye opener apparently some of the boys wantj g to return to School. We closed our bank account and added to it and we were able to add to it with generous donations from everyone. $800 was donated to Can Assist.

Hi to our school friends I’ve been asked to update Lex’s progress.He has been on his back for about sixteen weeks with very bad back pain not being able to walk more than a couple of metres.Lex had major back surgery three weeks ago today only the last couple of days he is feeling a little better. while having tests for this op prostrate cancer was diagnosed also found on his spine and lymph glands he goes to the doctor this Wednesday to see what path we have in front of us.Prayers for Lex would be appreciated thanks for all that have asked🙏🙏

Our little gathering has grown to 40. Thursday will be here before we know it. Pete’s planning on doing a few songs so should be a good night. Planning for next years 60th are under way. Lots of suggestions from May Sept Oct. avoiding the cold weather and school holidays as we have found grey nomads go north for winter and quite a few are minding grandkids in the holidays. If you have any input please let us know. Cheers.

Anyone on here who is coming to our little gathering on the 10th Oct. please be aware we’ve had to change the venue owing to such a great response. We now have 40 on the list and it’s been changed to The Railway Hotel 6pm.

Vale Toni MacKinnon, after graduation from Temora High School , teacher training at Wagga Wagga Teachers’ College then RCAE, rose through the ranks very quickly and competently, then Toni was a Principal. How those years flew fly. Toni retired to Mission Beach, enjoying the sunshine.
We have lost another class-mate.
