r in 2024" “A Coo-ee to Marie” is a Musical Production with a touch of history. The charming Bundawarrah Centre is the backdrop, while the music and performance takes you on a journey celebrating the life and songs of Marie Narelle (Catherine Mary Ryan) from 1870 Combaning, Temora, over 500 Australian Towns, the World's Fair 1904, Europe, Ireland to 1941 Chipping Norton, U.K. and home again to her beloved Temora. Learn of her musical accolades, her family, Eva Mylott, her tireless passion for helping those in need. An extraordinary, authentic, Australian tale to coincide with the first published Biography by the same name, written and researched by Bill Speirs, now available from the Bundawarrah Centre. Join the local performers, musicians and artists, Interstate and International partners who will collaborate to bring you and the family a unique event. With singalongs, Irish classics, plenty of Aussie humour and a few surprises along the way. The Temora Historical Society received significant funding as part of the Reconnecting Regional NSW Community Events Program for this event. We thank the Department for Regional NSW and Eastern Riverina Arts, CASP for their funding and support along with our sponsors. In excess of 40 Collaborators local, National and International were involved in this production. It is only with their passion, love and support that it took place. An edited version by a Victorian Production Company highlighting her Victorian career will be showcased in Melbourne in November 2025 dates & venues to follow. Sequel Production "Here, There & The Fair" features 1904 Temora, NSW, Chipping Norton, UK, showcasing her time at the 1904 World's Fair - Missouri, along with fun, laughter and food history.
