We are all about having fun. My name is Justin Leck and I began my love of archery as a child playing with my dads recurve on camping trips. Later as a teen I got a compound bow and taught myself all the wrong things. As the years went by I slowly overcame bad habits and learnt to shoot properly, soaked up every resource I could and was a member of several field archery clubs. I was all about the

endless pursuit of precision. Around 2013 I ran a small archery school where the traditional bow was most popular, which I couldn't understand since they are not very accurate. But after watching Lars Anderson etc and reading historical treatises I was hooked on traditional styles and all that it has to offer. I have hardly shot my compound bows since discovering so many different fun things to practice with simple bows. It's this love that I want to share with everybody and the reason I started Saga Archery.

A great day was had in Drake at the Saga Archery Fun Day, thanks to all who participated. Thanks to Jesse Jane for adding to the community spirit with the free stuff stall and thanks to Jacqui Cardilini for running the sausage sizzle. The combat archery and aerial targets were particularly popular while beginner archers honed their skills at the shooting galleries. Congrats to Kristian Keogh for winning the best dressed prize of some custom arrows.

Safety first, speed shooting, blind nocking, shower shooting, moving targets, aerial targets, catching an arrow, curving arrows, flaming arrows, traditional styles and equipment, different draw techniques, Horse archery techniques, Trick shooting, Holding arrows in the hand, clout shooting, arrows landing at the same time, two arrows at once, combat archery (like paintball), bow hunting, precision target, long distance, Bow/string/arrow making. Bush survival archery, zombie apocalypse prep etc etc
