Are you heading to this weekend? 🌃✨ If so, we’ve got a few transport tips to make your night a little smoother (and your experience even better):

🚆 Make the most of the Metro! Start your free Light Walk experience from Gadigal Metro (if visiting Darling Harbour), or Barangaroo Metro (if visiting Circular Quay, The Rocks or Barangaroo) and explore the festival on foot.

🚉 Trains will not stop at Circular Quay from 6pm-11pm on Saturday nights and long weekend Sunday (7th June). Use Wynyard, Martin Place or St James stations instead.

🚋 Light Rail services will not run between Town Hall and Circular Quay from 6pm on Fridays and 5pm on weekends. You can continue on foot from Town Hall.

🚌 Buses that usually stop at Circular Quay will now start and end trips at Martin Place from 6pm on Friday evenings and 5pm on weekends.

⛴️ Ferries are a spectacular (and popular!) way to experience Vivid Sydney, expect queues on weekends.

🚗 If you’re travelling by rideshare, Uber pickup zones are located throughout the festival precincts to help make getting to and from the action easier. You can also scan the QR codes at pickup zones to play the Uber Backseat Arcade while you wait or ride home.

👚 Our friendly volunteers are in pink jackets and our info booths supply kids ID wristbands.

There will be changes to transport services while roads are closed, so make sure to plan ahead. And remember, you don't have to see it all in one night, so take your time and explore the festival across a few evenings.

💡 Lights on every evening from 6pm–11pm until 13 June

We’re so excited to have you enjoy this year’s festival - it’s one to remember.
