Time to start thinking about the 2026 ARC Final
So, who is qualified to enter the $20,000 Australian Welsh and Part Welsh Ridden Championship and Mini Championships Final in March 2026?
Anyone who has placed 1st or 2nd in the ridden Welsh, ridden Part Welsh, Welsh Lead Rein, Open Lead Rein, Welsh First Ridden, Open Lead Rein relevant classes at any All Welsh Show, the Welsh National Show, RPG and sub-committee Society run events and events endorsed by the WPCS run under the WPCS rules.
If either 1st or 2nd have already qualified, the qualification goes to the 3rd placegetter.
All exhibits must be registered with the WP&CS and owned by a financial member at the time of qualifying.
If you have a Show Hunter or a Show Pony/Horse you are eligible to enter the 2026 Show Hunter and Show Pony/Horse Championship Final if you have placed 1st or 2nd in specific ridden Show Hunter and ridden Show Pony/Horse classes at:
• all State All Welsh Shows;
• the Welsh National Show;
• RPG and sub-committee Society run events; or
• events endorsed by the WPCS run under the WPCS Rules.
Or if you have qualified for EA Nationals or Show Horse Council Grand Nationals in Show Hunter or Show Pony/Horse classes including at Royal and Agricultural Shows that are Nationals and GN qualifiers.
If either 1st or 2nd have already qualified, the qualification goes to the 3rd placegetter.
All exhibits must be registered with the WP&CS and owned by a financial member when entering the Final.

8. NSW Youngstock Show (July 2025)
9. WNS Welsh Winter Performance Show (August 2025) (cancelled)
10. SA Performance Day (August 2025)
11. Geelong Royal (October 2025)
12. Leeton Agricultural Show (October 2025)
13. Euroa Agricultural Show (October 2025)
14. Southern Pony Classic (October 2025)
15. Corowa Agricultural Show (October 2025)
16. Perth Royal (October 2025)
17. Leeton Agricultural Show (October 2025)
18. Corowa Agricultural Show (October 2025)
19. SA All Welsh (November 2025)

The 2026 ARC Final will be held at Tatura Victoria on Friday 6th March 2026. Nearly $20,000 in prize money on offer. Overseas judges. Exhibits can qualify as 3-year-olds but must be 4-year-olds to compete at the Final.
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors the:
Champion Ridden Welsh will receive $4,000 and runner up $1000 with prizemoney in each class to 4th place;
Champion Ridden Part Welsh will receive $4,000 and runner up $1000 with prizemoney in each class to 4th place;
Mini Champion will receive $1000 and runner up $500;
Champion Ridden Show Hunter will receive $1,000 and runner up will receive $500; and
Champion Ridden Show Pony/Horse will receive $1,000 and runner up will receive $500.
