We love our growing community in Meanjin Nest, Autumn Open Studio was filled with delightful creatives jamming about process, industry, aesthetic and connecting through art, design and craft.

Energy lit up the Nest, artworks sold, a buzz from conversations and great feedback. Played some music and the gallery became a cute dance floor.

Meet Meanjin Nester Rachel Tribout ( )

As a designer and illustrator, Rachel creates joyful, character-driven work, most loved for Cheer Up Blobfish!

Inspired by nature and the everyday, she’s currently embracing a witchy phase, exploring mystical motifs and imaginative storytelling.

From passion projects to a self-initiated chocolate brand, her work is playful, thoughtful, and led by curiosity.

What a night.

Thank you to everyone who wandered through our halls, chatted with our artists, bought artwork, shared stories, and filled the space with so much energy. These events remind us why The Nest exists, creativity grows deeper when it’s shared.
