You might have heard about a new destash market popping up in the Blue Mountains. The first one is on 31 May 2026 at the BlackheathCommunityCentre. If you're keen, follow for all the details and stay tuned for details of a second Sydney Market happening later this year!

I was lucky enough to meet the lovely Raewyn on Sunday, and we got to chatting about the Industry Day.

This year, the event will be held at on Saturday 21 March 2026. It's set to be an incredible day featuring fantastic speakers, including:

There will also be some stall selling, sewing supplies and a fashion parade.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for sewers to come together, connect, be inspired, and learn something new.

Please tag us in your makes from items purchased at the market so we can share them with everyone, and we’ll be back with another market before long.

It's Market Day! Our stallholders are ready to destash at the Sydney Portugal Community Club (Fraser Park) from 10 am.

Find us at 100 Marrickville Road, Marrickville. Entry is $2, cash preferred, and the closest ATM is inside the Clubhouse.

Bring your fabric scraps and donations for Skateability!

We'll have a scissor sharpener, coffee, and cake for a truly enjoyable day!

Wooden Bobbins, Fridge Bubbles (upcycled cork magnets!) and crafty Collage Kits of vintage music, fabric remnants and torn words ready to be discovered.

See you at the Sydney Destash Market at Marrickville. 10am -3pm. Sunday, 8 February 2026!

Look for TornandDrawn in the BBQ area as you come in.

More vintage fabrics are making their way to tomorrow's market, courtesy of .

It'sall happening at the Sydney Portugal Community Club, 100 Marrickville Road, Marrickville, from 10 am.

Entry is $2, and everyone in attendance is invited to bring a bag of fabric scraps that we will send for recycling.

We are also running a collection drive for Skateability, so please bring along any donations. Skateability's stall will be at the entrance to the market.

We also have Vicky from Edge Scissor Sharpening ready to sharpen your fabric scissors and pinking shears.

With over 130 stalls selling fabric, yarn, and other craft items, this is an event not to be missed.

Tomorrow is Market Day!

We’re excited to welcome over 130 stallholders selling an incredible range of yarn, fabric, notions, patterns, and other craft treasures.

📍 Sydney Portugal Community Club
100 Marrickville Road, Marrickville
🕙 10 am–3 pm

This year, we’re also running a collection drive for , who will be accepting donations of toy patterns, felt, fabric, and filling.

Entry is $2, and everyone attending is invited to bring a small bag of fabric scraps for recycling.

This is a cash-preferred event, and our friends at the Portugal Community Club have confirmed there is an ATM inside the clubhouse.
