A fantastic weekend supporting Oyster Bay Public School. Arts and crafts, plenty of food, variety of stalls, rides, show bags, entertainment and lots, lots more! The inaugural Oyster Bay Art & Craft Festival was held in 1970.The festival is the biggest of its kind in the southern part of Sydney and has become a tradition of the school. Each year since its inception, thousands of dollars worth of e

ducational resources go directly into classrooms and school programs as a result of this highly successful fundraising event. The wonderful support of parents and the Oyster Bay community has meant that this event has grown and thrived. Staff, students and parents work closely together to plan the Festival each year. The Festival is renowned far and wide for its excellent organisation and the very high standard of exhibits for purchase and playground activities for the children. The committment of parents both during the Festival weekend and in the many months of planning which precede the event is outstanding. Ther staff and children gratefully acknowledge the dedication and enthusiasm that make it all possible. The festival opens each year with the Opening Night activities on the Friday night including an auction, entertainment and presentation of Art and Craft awards. The rest of the weekend is filled with numerous art and craft stalls, rides and games for the children, a variety of entertainment as well as performances by the Oyster Bay PS bands, choirs and dance groups. After so many years, the children of Oyster Bay still await the last weekend in May with great anticipation.

Our Friday Night Launch Party was the perfect way to kick off the Oyster Bay Arts & Craft Festival, with great music, fantastic food and drinks, plenty of dancing, and an amazing community atmosphere.

A huge shout out to our incredible entertainment lineup, who kept the crowd dancing and the energy high all night long. From the toe-tapping tunes of The Lonely Grifters, to the country charm of , the powerhouse performance from and the incredible , our performers helped create an unforgettable night under the lights. 🎶✨

You put the fun in our kids disco and games area, helping bring the energy to life with the ultimate arcade experience. From the dance floor to the games zone, you kept the excitement high and the smiles constant all weekend long!

With over 60 years of experience and an amazing range of amusement machines and party games, Able Amusements helped us take the festival atmosphere to the next level. Families and kids were drawn in by the lights, sounds, and nonstop fun you created.

What a weekend! 🎨✨

The Oyster Bay Arts & Craft Festival was absolutely buzzing! The kids had smiles from ear to ear, the BBQ was sizzling, the Art Gallery was captivating visitors, the craft stalls were thriving, and Let's Slime Them was a massive hit! 🖼️🍔🛍️🧪

It was a weekend filled with creativity, colour and community, bringing people together to celebrate the incredible talent, spirit and generosity that make Oyster Bay so special.

Not only was it our biggest and busiest festival yet, but every dollar raised will help provide valuable resources and opportunities for the students at Oyster Bay Public School. Seeing our community come together to support our school while creating so many wonderful memories was truly something special.

From amazing performances and stunning artwork to delicious food and family fun, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, sponsored and supported the festival. Your enthusiasm and community spirit made this year's event one to remember.

If you were having too much fun over the festival weekend and didn't get a chance to grab a Heart Art sticker, there's still time!

Stickers are available from the K–2 Site Office until Friday ($5 - cash only). Once purchased, your child's artwork will be sent home with them.

After a massive weekend of planning, volunteering, entertaining and celebrating, a hot pizza dinner was exactly what the team needed to keep going as we packed everything away.
