If you've run Bare Creek before, you'll know exactly what we're talking about.

If you haven't, consider this your warning: there's a good chance you'll finish with wet shoes, muddy legs and a big grin on your face.

The Bare Creek Trail Run isn't about perfectly groomed paths and pristine white shoes. It's about getting out on the trails, crossing creeks, tackling a few hills and enjoying a great morning with hundreds of like-minded runners.

We’ll take a few sprinkles early in the week to settle the dust, and sunshine by Sunday for perfect Bare Creek running conditions.

Alright, Bare Creek legends, here’s your mission: between now and 6pm this Friday, we want you to shower the Bare Creek Trail Run and Ku-ring-gai in a little social media love. Post about your favourite part of the run, why Garigal National Park is the absolute best, or just how much you love having a race in the friendliest corner of Sydney. 🌳

What’s in it for you? If your post is the standout by 6pm Friday, we’ll shoot you a free 2025 entry (or refund your existing one) and throw in a free spot for 2026 as well. Double the fun, double the glory! 🎉Winner is announced at 8pm on Friday!
