In 2018, I brought to Australia several pieces of a fallen plane tree—uprooted by the floods of the mythical river Sys, in the ancient land of Leivithra, birthplace of Orpheus. The tree had died from erosion, stripped of life by the same forces that, according to legend, once destroyed the city when Orpheus’s bones were revealed.
But here, in the Olympus Guitars workshop, that wood lives again.
This is not just timber. It’s memory. It’s myth. It’s resurrection.
Each guitar crafted from this sacred tree carries the energy of a place where music was once divine ritual. These instruments are not mass-produced—they are born of reverence, precision, and a deep connection to legacy.
