**********ANNOUNCEMENT***********

We regret to announce that we have decided to cancel the 'Diwali in the Hills 2023' event due to the rain that is forecasted starting this weekend through to mid next week.

There is a very high probability of water clogging at the venue in case of any rain which would subsequently mean that it will become unsafe for people to use it. Also, The Hills Shire Council has the right to close down the venue if it deems it unfit for events considering there will be food trucks, stage, entertainment, amusement rides, etc that we are planning to have on the day.

It has not been an easy decision to make as you can imagine but we strongly believe that it is the right one given the safety and well being of everyone involved is our highest priority and something that is non negotiable. We are very disappointed with this outcome considering the efforts that have gone in to put this together for the local community but as for any outdoor event we are at the mercy of the weather conditions and it is unfortunate that it doesn't look promising.

All refunds will be automatically processed in 5-10 working days.

We cannot thank you enough for your support and look forward to be in a position to hold this event in the future years.
