Trigger warning: Block 13 violence

Emergency request - one of Block 13 q***r refugees in East Africa has been badly beaten in a homophobic attack. He’s in hospital with a broken leg and needs surgery. They’re asking for $1900 to treat him. That would include surgery, physio, a bed for a week and medication.

We have $900AU in our kitty to send but we need an extra $1000.

If you can possibly help by sending what you can afford and we can all be part of getting him treated and feeling less alone. Anything you can send will help.

What an epic night to celebrate 5 absolutely incredible years!

Thank you to everyone who has worked with us, volunteered with us, shown up in the audience and shared photos and stories with their friends.

Qu**rs of Joy is morphing and changing for 2026. We will keep you posted for what’s to come.
