2026 EVENT: 14-16 AUGUST. LOCK IT IN 🔒

Join us in August for the 8th rendition of TAKE48, SUFF’s annual 48-hour Filmmaking Challenge!

➡️ Save the date for the challenge weekend: 7pm Friday, August 14 to 7pm Sunday, August 16 (AEST Timezone).
➡️ Screening & awards in the following weeks at Sydney Underground Film Festival

TAKE48 2025 WINNERS 🎉

The results are in and the TAKE48 2025 winners have been crowned!

Before we jump into it, we wanted to pass on a huge congratulations to not only the 2025 award winners, but to everyone to joined in on this year’s challenge. The competition was fierce, the creativity was mind-blowing, and year on year we continue to be blown away with what gets produced in such a short period of time.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again - completing the challenge is a feat for celebration in itself, and you all should be extremely proud of that achievement, regardless of if you take home an award or not.

All the films created for TAKE48 this year will be shared via the TAKE48 online screening room (www.take48.com.au/screening-room) shortly, so keep an eye out for that if you couldn’t make it out to the cinema or want to re-watch some of your faves!
