Chookas for your SOLD OUT OPENING NIGHT!!

The Loading Dock lineup for Kitchen Sink Fest ’24 is like if a comedy cabaret had a baby with a Berlin art film about a wig shop.

Book to see the double bill for QTOPIA’s Loading Dock, and see NOTES ON A SCANDAL by Emma Kew & Andrew Fraser and DEAN, DON’T DANCE by Dean Nash back to back, side by side, wig to wig on a night of your choosing..

In turns campy, political, q***r and downright salacious, The Loading Dock’s double bill is for the gossips, the dance floor dilettantes, the cine-theatre skeptics and the Liza Minelli apologists of the world. Book your double bill for The Loading Dock now!

DEAN, DON’T DANCE! written and performed by Dean Nash, has its world premiere in 12 DAYS!!

An intimate piece of very funny solo cabaret with a suite of new original songs. Watch Dean sing and speak frankly about disability, the weight of systemic ableism, and some Hillsong leaders’ drug habits. It won’t be like anything you’ve ever seen before.

See it at as one half of the double bill at the Loading Dock from 18-21 December, 7pm and 21 December, 2pm.

IT’S RAINING opportunities to see test the limits of what performance poetry can be again. It’s time to get ‘Inspired’.

Joining Kitchen Sink Fest for the second year in a row after last year’s brilliant ‘Date + Time’, Albert delivers a seminar… well something close to a seminar, while writing a brand new poem live on stage based on prompts from the audience.

Taking inspiration from our idols and with dramaturgy from icon you do not want to miss this new piece of theatrical brilliance. It won’t be like anything you’ve ever seen before.

See it as one half of the Substation double-bill: 7:30pm, Tuesday 17 - Saturday 21 December.

‘Notes on a Scandal’ is a new work by the soon to be iconic pairing of and .fraser

The latest entry in Sydney’s cine-theatre epidemic, watch this mildly lucrative IP be turned into a theatrical marvel that seeks to find the cure for our pop-culturally poisoned minds whilst serving hair, body AND face. It won’t be like anything you’ve ever seen before.

See it at The Loading Dock 18-21 December.

WE WANT YOU!

to know that we are TWO WEEKS out from the first show of Kitchen Sink Fest ‘24 at QTOPIA in its strictly limited season, 17 - 21 December.

One of the four shows is ‘oops I don’t no scrubs to hit me baby again’, created by the megamind that is

All of this show’s dialogue is pulled from media coverage of female celebrities written by male music reviewers in 1999. Think your primary school pop culture scrapbook with the meanness dialed up to 11. It won’t be like anything you’ve ever seen before.
