Dear Plant Parents,

It is with sadness that we announce the closure of our online potting mix store. We want to take this moment to express our sincerest gratitude for your unwavering support.

Operating this store has been an incredible journey, filled with joy and passion for sustainable potting mix. One huge highlight was organising the Melbourne Houseplant Festival, a creative project which our founder left full-time work for. It was so special to meet you in person and to bring awareness around ethical and sustainable potting mix.

We would like to thank each and every one of you for being a
part of our community. We will be closing once we sell out of stock.

We encourage you to continue nurturing your love for indoor plants and creating your own sustainable mixes. Remember, it's not just about the plants; it's about the joy, connection, and growth they bring into our lives.

Thank you to all our amazing customers for helping our small potting mix business grow! We wanted to let you know that we will be taking a well-deserved break and going on a two-week holiday.

We will be closed from Wed 1st March to Tue 14th March, but don't worry, we'll be back and better than ever! Order cut-off time is Tue 28th Feb 6pm and we will dispatch on Wed 1st March in the morning.

During our absence, you can still place orders on our website, and we'll fulfill them as soon as we return. Thank you for your understanding, and we can't wait to serve you again when we get back! ✨🌴

Gnats got into your potting mix? Our packaging includes a resealable zip to keep gnats out!

Before we started Planthood, we once had gnats go crazy in a bag we bought from a garden shop which we closed up with a rubber band. So when we started Planthood, we aimed to solve every problem we have ever found with existing potting mix.

And it doesn't just stop at resealable zips, we also add a lot more perlite than normal mixes to prevent root rot and it's peat free for the environment!

And in case you're wondering, our mix is not smelly or stinky. 😤 We've got your nose covered. Phew! 😉
