So that our hardworking committee can rest and recharge in preparation for tomorrow, we're officially clocking off for the evening. 😊

If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to your Club Team Manager in the first instance.

**Tomorrow:**
🔹 Please consult your Team Manager first with any questions.
🔹 We will have fantastic Marshals available at the Open Ring, Beginner/Transition Ring, Show Jumping and Sporting areas who will be happy to assist with any queries that cannot be answered by your Team Manager.

With close to **90 riders** attending, we're aiming to ensure our hardworking committee members can focus on delivering a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone without becoming overwhelmed.

❓🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️🙋🏼Who likes to know where they are going? 🙌🏻

No need to be lost getting to or around Gymkhana on Sunday.

We have put together a high level timetable. . . BUT . . . We understand what horse events are like . . . 🤣
Keep your eyes 👀 & ears 👂🏼 open & follow the direction of our amazing ring marshals.

Where are the grounds?
Pop “Exeter Street Camden into your navigation 🧭. Head through the gate & turn right down over the culvert . . . Don’t turn right too early or you will end up at the cricket 🏏 ground . . . And that is no fun.

Parking 🅿️
- please leave the space to the left for CPC members
- open riders park along the bunting at the back . . . But leave a space so you aren’t on top of the rings.
- limited parking 🅿️ for beginner/transition riders to the far right . . . But leave a walk way to the front & space for the gate.

Beginner riders you are welcome to warm up in the dressage arena & open riders are welcome to use rings 4 - 7 (until kick 🦵 off) or the marshalling space.

We’ve done the best we can with the map 🗺️ situation. . . It’s not perfect 👌🏻 but you will get the idea 💡.

Now we have committed to go ahead we need to answer the really important questions. . .

1. I don’t function without caffeine. Will there be a coffee van 🚐?

2. I need some pics done. Will there be a photographer?

3. I have a hankering for a bacon 🥓 & egg 🥚 roll. Will you guys have a canteen?

Certainly do. Loads of choice and options to suit everyone.

We will be making some program changes to accommodate the grounds conditions. Sit tight & check back in tomorrow.

🤍💛✨Refresher on how overall point score works.

For ring events Beginners & Transition have been split into 2 ages per group. No jumping is included (as you can’t be in these groups and have a grade of E or above).

Overall Beginner (on lead & off lead) Champion & Reserve will receive a prize sponsored by Confetti Equestrian Appaloosas.

Transition & Open Age Groups Champions will receive an upgraded Kersey Wool Rug. Our overall sponsors are:

FAQ - How does the overall point score work?

For Show Riding the following classes are not in included - Pairs, Team of 4, Consolation & Fancy dress.
Based on your placing you are awarded points 5 (1st) to 1 (5th).

Sporting is based on ages groups with points 5 (1st) to 1 (5th).

Showjumping points are awarded:
Junior E & D & Associate E& D. We may further divide these into smaller classes depending on numbers.
C B & A Grade may not divide into junior/associate.
F-Grade participation receives no points.
Points are awarded 5 (1st) to 1 (5th).

If for any reason we have equal points we will count back to the Rider Class in the first instance.

We hope to be able to publish progressive updates for checking.

🚫 Can I switch groups on Sunday?
Unfortunately not. You’ll need to compete in the group you entered, unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Calling for helpers/volunteers.

🚨 Calling All Super Star ⭐️ Stewards 🚨

Sunday’s Gymkhana is shaping up to be HUGE with close to 90 entries 😱🐴 which is amazing 🤩 . . . but we will be struggling to get the day rolling without a few extra helping hands!

We’re looking for ring stewards/helpers from around 8:15 am to around lunch (shifts can be split). It would be amazing to get 1 helper from each club (especially larger attendees). This would make a massive difference to help us keep the day running smoothly, efficiently and on time. . . No jumping in the dark!

💡 Got an older capable teen? Not riding on the day? Looking for something constructive to do?
Instead of spending the day glued to a screen 📱, come ringside for some fresh air, horsey action and a chance to help out. Ring stewarding is actually pretty fun; you get a front row seats to all the action! We even cover your lunch, coffee ☕️ & snacks!

Many of our own members already have multiple jobs for the day, or will be busy keeping our beginner riders safe and supported.
We’d really appreciate some extra volunteers stepping up & stepping in.

No experience? No worries! We’ll point you in the right direction.
