The front queues are long but ticking over with speed, fast food requires fast staff both with processing orders and a well thought out kitchen line for cooking and serving. Coffee, Pain aux Raisins pastry and a lollipop and visit to the Renwick playground was the demand post PCYC Kindy Gym session this morning. I seemed to have lost out on my share of the pastry.

Good news at the end of today that we were successful with our tender submission for the contracts for major event extensions for the larger sporting and concerts at Sydney Olympic Park along with separately for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
We are starting to let existing food truck operators and caterers know about the pending events starting with State of Origin game 3 on Wed 12th July.
WWC23 is limited to only caterers that can trade out of a supplied tent structure currently. We will finalise this information in the coming week also.

Entertainers - we are programming for these events again also and hope to provide opportunities for emerging Sydney artists who hit the relevant genre / crowd for these events and we like to do a little bit of the unusual mixed in. Budgets are of course tight as it will be completely underwritten by the event commission from catering sales but the past summer concert series has shown how popular both elements are together in bringing people into the Fig Grove area so look forward to seeing this recreated again over the coming year.

We had a small misunderstanding over the weekend on a couple of stock levels so there is a little bit of stock coming to the end of ideal shelf life from yesterday’s order so rather than let that go those go to waste, do drop in.

Whether you are coming out to for the AUS Vs ENG Netball Game to see the Diamonds as they take on the England Roses at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday 30 October, or if you are looking for the opportunity to catch some free live music, then make sure you join us down at the Music Box Stage outside Qudos Bank Arena near the P1 Carpark to see perform 2 sets at 5.15pm and 6.15pm. 

For those at the game, there will be more live music after the game with a performance by Melita ( )from 9.30pm on the Music Box Stage.

All part of the live music program happening this month and next. This program is proudly funded by the NSW Government through the CBDs Revitalisation Program.

This Thursday evening madelaine de leon 🌼🍃] is our first vocalist and musician to appear as part of this new event, The Hot Chocolate Sessions, Live Music Gigs during October.

For our unique mix of live music at Oliver Brown, we have invited the artists to also put their own spin on one of the chart topping hits of the 70’s London Soul band, Hot Chocolate,   madelaine de leon 🌼🍃] has selected their song, “It Started With A Kiss”.

The night will feature 3 other artists who will perform their own original songs and covers.  The gigs are hosted by the charismatic and funky who will kick off each evening with some of his own music along with of course something Hot and Chocolatey.

Oliver Brown Sydney Olympic Park is excited to bring this program of live music gigs to both local residents and visitors to the precinct.  The opportunity to showcase and present emerging Sydney artists is proudly funded by the NSW Government through the support of Investment NSW.  Produced by
