It lives on the premise that there is no need to “own land” - it establishes a value exchange wherever it brings its virtual community & events fund raising, drawing public attention, gifting or organizing willing volunteer labour - whether it be to shine a light on a local eco village, organize a fundraiser, an approved festival on a farmer’s property, or establish a syntropic/permaculture garden, or even disaster recovery. BACKGROUND •

The director of the polkadot community incorporated association, Jimmyz Hirst, is working with a rapidly growing community successfully building events for people attracting interest in Tiny Houses & Eco Villages Seminars. Jim’s background is in engineering wide social change, helping usher in progressive initiatives to mainstream society successfully, beginning with electronic communications pre-Internet, pre-mobile phones in the early 90’s.

Jim also played a pivotal role in bringing electronic dance music to the mainstream through the mass media and music & entertainment industry approached by media outlets Nova Radio, Foxtel/Channel [V], Austereo, WILD FM, and in collaboration with record companies, investors and entrepreneurs, selling double platinum CD compilations, networking initiatives, building an industry worth tens of millions of dollars, unearthing and helping realize the careers of several worldwide leading artists, to help shape and build an entirely new industry around social change.

Jimmy brings his skills for organizing social networks for effective change, skills in strategizing, branding and marketing, successful progressive change for the wider population.

FUTURE •

We are an independent community association working with similarly-minded and aligned communities, like a coalition of the willing, to collaborate efforts to more effectively help transition the mainstream. We are a self-funded and self fund-raising group.

We would like to help work with aligned eco villages, sustainable communities and community groups vision/re-vision who are serious about these goals, and to supplement and help renew a sense of imperative purpose now for demonstrating sustainable community living principles through fundraising and support to help achieve these overall shared joint goals.
