I didn't let go because I stopped loving what I'd created.
That's probably what made it so bloody hard.
There were people attached to those decisions.
Women I loved.
Plans.
Expectations.
Parts of my identity.
And there were moments when disappointing someone else felt harder than disappointing myself.
Read that again.
Because I had to.
I realised how easy it can be to call something “commitment” when underneath it, we're terrified of what might happen if we honour the truth that's changing inside us.
And my truth was changing.
Life was changing.
I couldn't see what was coming next.
For a while, I couldn't even make sense of what was happening around me.
So I stopped.
I let go.
And I allowed myself to catch up with my own life.
There was no grand reinvention waiting on the other side.
I've rebuilt slowly.
And I'm still rebuilding.
I'm discovering who I am at 50 with a level of presence I didn't know I needed.
Some days she feels powerful as f**k.
Some days she's tender.
Some days she's playful.
Some days she doesn't have a bloody clue.
I'm learning not to exile any of them.
And perhaps that's why my work has become more intimate too.
Temple Retreats and my in-person events are on pause for 2026.
But my Sacred Temple 1:1 space is very much alive.
I've been sitting beside women privately while I have also been learning how to sit more deeply beside myself.
No performance.
No pretending.
No rushing to become the next version.
Just the sacred, sometimes messy work of meeting the woman who is here now.
If you're in that season too, my door is open.
