🎥✨Woohoo! Our festival highlights video just dropped 💥

Long Listen Festival 2025 lit up the Sunshine Coast Hinterland with bold music, deep listening, and extraordinary artistry.

From world premieres and small hall concert magic to festival conversations and morning meditations, this festival was one for the culture seekers and music lovers.

One of our festival’s core aims is to support and celebrate young talent both on stage and behind the scenes. This year we were thrilled to have Lara Lawson from Lens & Launch on our crew.

At just nineteen, she’s already making creative waves with her videography, and she captured so many incredible moments across Long Listen 2025 both at Palmwoods and at our closing Blues On The Range concert at .pub 🎥✨

Here’s a taste of what she’s created… and you’ll need to wait just a little longer before we drop her full-length festival wrap-up!

Thanks to 's amazing community of volunteers and AD Louise King for the brunch gathering 🍹at Tallowwood Shelter it might have been a little rainy 🌧️ but we were cozy at our fave spot 🌴🦎🍄

Our menu featured fresh orange 🍊 juice, champagne 🥂 and delish pastries 🥐 from plus homemade middle eastern dips, Tunisian meatballs and marinated chicken wings, and Egyptian eggs made by Lyn Pointer.

Louise King made dips, fruit 🍉 platters, stewed spiced peaches 🍑 tabbouleh and a middle eastern mess with pomegranate, rose 🌹 water cream and strawberry 🍓 coulis with Turkish delight and dates. Yum 😋

Thanks to everyone who made this so special and delicious!

🚀 We’ve raised $3,017 for our Listen Forward // Tune In campaign. We’re so close to reaching our $5,000 goal!

A heartfelt thank you to every legend who’s donated, shared, and supported our one day fundraising. Your generosity is powering the future of new music on the Sunshine Coast for our 2026 program 💛

Thanks to you, we can commission a brilliant new work from Queensland-based Ukrainian composer Catherine Likhuta, so that part is in the bag! 💼🎼 🙌

But we’re not done yet…

We still need your help to rehearse, record, and share this music with our community and make it to the stage for our 2026 program - a legacy piece for future audiences far and wide.

Here’s what your donation makes possible:
💛 Under $50 Be part of our Commission Donor Circle
