Local chef Lizzy Sabo from Cooked from Scratch is passionate about showcasing the incredible produce grown right here in our region.

For Lizzy, local isn't just a buzzword.

It's knowing the growers. Knowing what's in season. And taking what's grown around Stanthorpe and turning it into something worth sitting down for.

This November, she'll bring that philosophy to the Galley Stage at the Stanthorpe Berry Festival — giving you the chance to watch, taste and discover some of the produce grown practically on our doorstep.

And that's what makes this festival a little different.

A great family day out shouldn't mean reaching for your wallet every five minutes.

That's why we're packing plenty of FREE kids' fun into this year's Stanthorpe Berry Festival.

…and plenty of opportunities for little festival-goers to get involved in the action.

Our friends from Lillie's Cubby House Wallangarra will be joining us to create a fun, welcoming space for the kids — while Mum and Dad get to enjoy everything else happening around the festival.

And that's just one little corner of the day.

Live cooking. Tastings. Markets. Music. Competitions. Fresh Granite Belt produce. BBQ. Workshops. And a whole lot of berry-filled fun.

Kids 10–17 are just $5 when you book online, and children under 10 are FREE when accompanying adults.

This Berry Festival, we're taking you behind the farm gate.

Swipe through for a little taste of what you'll discover on our Escorted Strawberry Farm Tours — from rows of strawberry plants and picking in the field to seeing how the fruit is packed and prepared before making its way to you.

Then on Festival Day, experience it for yourself.

Jump aboard our escorted tour and head into the Granite Belt countryside to visit a working strawberry farm, meet the people behind the produce and discover just how much goes into growing one of our region's favourite crops.

🍓 Meet one of the faces behind the flavour...

We're thrilled to welcome Matt Golinski - Official back to the Stanthorpe Berry Festival this November.

Matt is no stranger to the Granite Belt — he's a huge supporter of our region, our growers and the incredible produce that comes from this little corner of Queensland.

And when strawberry season arrives? You can be sure he'll find a delicious way to put our local berries centre stage.

Catch Matt live in the Galley, where he'll be cooking with fresh Granite Belt produce, sharing plenty of tips and, of course, serving up tastings along the way.

This is what we love about our festival.

You don't simply watch from a distance. You get to meet the chefs, hear the stories behind the food and taste what they're creating.
