What an incredible day at last week’s triathlon! We had 121 Registered participants.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part from our seasoned athletes chasing podium finishes to those giving a triathlon a go for the very first time. It was especially fantastic to see the next generation out there, with over 23 TRYstars participating and giving it their all. The energy, determination and community spirit on display made the event something truly special.

We are so grateful for the amazing support from our local community. Your donations, encouragement and willingness to get involved helped make this event possible, and it was wonderful to see so many people get behind it.

A very special mention goes to the Launceston Triathlon Club for hosting the event bringing all the gear, organising logistics, and being there from the very early hours to set everything up. Your experience and generosity made the day run smoothly from start to finish.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers, who stepped in without hesitation and gave their time and energy across the day. Events like this simply cannot happen without you.

We also extend our thanks to the Scamander Surf Life Saving Club for being there bright and early to set up the course and keep everyone safe in the water, and to North East Earthworx for managing the road closures and helping ensure a safe course for all competitors.

A sincere thank you as well to Break O’Day Council and St Helens Police for their support and guidance along the way your assistance behind the scenes helped make the planning and delivery of the event possible.

It was a fantastic community event and a great celebration of participation, getting active and local spirit. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
