Tomorrow night is the night! 🎶

Join us for The Next Verse — an intimate evening of original music from local singer-songwriters performing brand new songs at the Woodstock Theatre.

And we have one final artist to introduce before the big night: Sanaz Saadatfar is a kamancheh player whose music moves between tradition and personal reflection — rooted in emotion, memory and human connection. We can't wait to hear her perform.

Say hello to Amelia O'Neill — one of the emerging voices taking the stage at The Next Verse. 🎵

The Wollert singer-songwriter has been scribbling lyrics on scraps of paper since she was a kid, saving them up for the day she'd turn them into real songs. That day has arrived. Playing acoustic and electric guitar, Amelia crafts heartfelt singer-songwriter music with an eye toward indie and alternative rock — and she's bringing her original sound to the PRACC stage for the very first time.

We're so excited to welcome Kitty Beach to The Next Verse lineup.

Kitty is a q***r and neurodivergent singer-songwriter whose indie pop/folk sound is built on poetic storytelling, catchy choruses and emotional honesty. Their music transforms difficult feelings into something that connects — speaking directly to anyone who's ever felt a little different.

With two singles, an EP and an LP already under their belt, Kitty Beach is an emerging artist absolutely worth watching. Come and hear their newest song, written as part of The Next Verse songwriting program.

Meet Aaron Cargill — one of the artists taking the stage at The Next Verse on 20 June. 🎶

Originally from Western Australia, Aaron has called Whittlesea home for the past decade — living and creating on the lands of the Wurundjeri Willum Clan and Taungurung Peoples. A multi-instrumentalist who studied music formally before exploring vocals, drums and electronics, Aaron brings a rich and curious sound to everything he creates.

The song you'll hear him perform at The Next Verse is something deeply personal — written to express what home means to him since making the move to Melbourne. We can't wait to hear it.
