This year Sakura Picnic will be celebrating 10 years since the event was created in 2016! So be sure to mark Sunday the 3rd of May 2026 in your calendars and join us for a great day bringing Melbourne's Asian automotive clubs and vehicle enthusiasts together.
We started Sakura Picnic in 2016 to unite Melbourne's Japanese car clubs with a show that had no egos or awards - just the true Japanese ethos of showing appreciation for everyone's individual tastes. Since 2023, we felt it was right to expand this concept to the entire Asian region, welcoming passionate owners with vehicles from Hyundai, Kia & Proton to name just a few.

We will be at Bundoora Park, opening the gates for owners of these vehicles to display their pride and joy, make new friends, and enjoy a relaxed day under the trees. Bring your picnic rug along with your family, friends and fur-babies (on-leash) to enjoy the food trucks, coffee, ice cream and vendor alley, and of course the abundance of vehicles on display!

Display vehicle entry is $25.00 per car or motorbike.
TCCAV members receive a generous discount if logged in to purchase tickets.
Spectator entry and spectator parking is FREE.

Did you know Classic Japan has a new location? Our annual event will now be held at Cruden Farm (60 Cranbourne-Frankston Rd, Langwarrin) on Sunday 30th November 2025. This charitable event will be raising funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and will run a raffle, with prizes yet to be announced.
All Japanese manufactured vehicles aged 25 or older are welcome to be on display.

What an absolutely fantastic day out at Bundoora Park for our annual event today.
The cars were lookin fab, the food was yummy, the stalls had so much variety, and the weather was top notch, albeit a little windy, but that wasn't enough to ruin our day!!
