Homegrown and glowing celebrates two remarkable milestones this year - 21 years of Goulburn Valley Pride and 15 years of the OUT in the OPEN Festival.

This theme honours our local roots and the community that has grown, nurtured, and sustained Pride in the Goulburn Valley.

From small beginnings to bold celebrations, 2026 shines a light on who we are, how far we’ve come, and the bright future ahead.

Together we stand proud, deeply homegrown and glowing brighter than ever.

Rainbow Storytime at Shepparton Library is a wonderful celebration of diversity in children’s picture books! Join us for songs, stories and a rainbow-themed craft activity. Suitable for families and carers with children aged 0 - 6 years.

Are you curious to know why a pub called the Stonewall Inn is important?
Do you know when the rainbow flag was first flown?
Ever heard of a pink triangle?
These happy campers enjoyed the opportunity to learn in a safe space with others. Together they created a visual timeline of key moments in the lives of LGBTIQA+ people with co-facilitators Em (she/her - they/them) and Al (she/her). Watch out for future sessions…

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance.

What is Trans Day of Remembrance?
International Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance held on November 20th that honours the memory of transgender, gender diverse and non-binary people whose lives have been lost to anti-transgender violence.

🏳️‍⚧️ Today, we reflect and we remember those no longer with us.
🏳️‍⚧️ Today, we lean into hope for a future free from violence towards trans folk.
🏳️‍⚧️ Today, we ask allies to commit to a future of inclusion.
