🌈✨ A Night of Colour, Community and Celebration ✨🌈

GV Pride marked an incredible milestone this month, celebrating 21 years of supporting and advocating for the LGBTIQA+ community with a vibrant Rainbow Gala at The Woolshed.

Guests enjoyed a delicious two-course meal, complimentary drinks on arrival, and an evening of entertainment from talented LGBTIQA+ performers and DJs. The colourful event brought people together to celebrate diversity, inclusion and community spirit in true GV Pride style.

Host your own event for OUTintheOPEN 2026! 🧡

Umbrella events offer you the opportunity to grow your idea into an event that’s part of our festival. Alongside the events we curate and lead (our opening night event, Carnival Day, community brunch and many more) we are looking for community groups, organisations, performers, venues, or artists keen to bring an event to life over the 15 days of the festival.

This year’s theme is 'Homegrown and Glowing' and we'd love to see events that bring our theme to life!

This theme honours our local roots and the community that has grown, nurtured, and sustained Pride in the Goulburn Valley. From small beginnings to bold celebrations, 2026 shines a light on who we are, how far we’ve come, and the bright future ahead. Together we stand proud, deeply homegrown and glowing brighter than ever.

Rainbow Storytime at Shepparton Library is a wonderful celebration of diversity in children’s picture books. Join us for songs, stories and a rainbow craft activity. 10.30am Tuesday 23rd June.
