📸 Sail Peninsula 2026 – Regatta Photos Now Available!

A huge thank you to the incredibly talented Svetlana and Vadim who spent the weekend capturing the action, atmosphere and spirit of Sail Peninsula 2026 both on and off the water. Their dedication across the regatta ensured so many special moments were preserved for sailors, supporters and spectators alike.

Welcome to all our sailors - from the home team, to neigbouring clubs, to our visitors from the city end - we are thrilled to have you, Thank you for supporting our SP26. And so it has begun, albeit not in a lot of wind initially, in fact no wind in spots - but that didn’t damper spirits - in fact it made for some champagne sailing, stunning photograghs and a fleet which was wonderfully visible from the clubhouse. Thankfully a breeze finally kicked in just as we were all thinking “we may not even get a finish” taking the fleet around the course and back home to a great evening together onshore as the sun set in spectacular fashion, could only happen in Safety Beach. The fabulous & talented Duo - Dee & Kevin from “The Calmer Miles” kept us entertained whilst everyone enjoyed a delicious “Indian” themed Buffet from the Snooks Catering team.

After a full day on the water, Saturday night is getting a fresh new feel this year — and we can’t wait to welcome you upstairs at Safety Beach Sailing Club.

💫 Cocktail-style format with food stations

We’re mixing things up with DJ Matthew – Live Saxophonist, spinning all your favourite hits and anthems. And he doesn’t just stay behind the decks… expect live sax weaving through the crowd, dance floor energy, and proper apres-sail celebration vibes.

It’s a change-up from previous years — designed for sailors who want to relax, connect and celebrate. Think good food, great company and hands-in-the-air moments.
