Tasmanian Chilli & Cheese Festival

After having to defer our festival, due to circumstances beyond our control.
We are proud to announce that we are now in negotiations with the Northern Midlands Council to have the first Tasmanian Chilli & Cheese Festival in December this year, in the beautiful historic town of Ross. The Village Green is a beautiful spot for the event.
So, stay tuned.......

Woohoo! More awesomeness in Tassie.

A rare geomagnetic storm that was one of the strongest in 20 years sparked a huge Aurora Australis display over Tasmania last night.

The solar storm caused bright auroras to be visible at unusually low latitudes, classified by the BOM as a "severe event".

People described last night's show as “insane scene to witness and photograph” and it's hoped a similar display will be on show tonight if the clouds clear.

Exciting news!
After discussions with the organisers of the Heartlands Autumn Festival held across the long weekend of 7-9 March, 2025, our Tasmanian Chilli and Cheese Fest 2025 will be the main food event on the Saturday. Venue will be the Council property adjacent to the Town Hall where lots of other great things are being planned by Lana and her team!
