Its only 4 days till 'Australias Biggest Little Rodeo'! Saturday the 17th sees the nations best cowboys and cowgirls matched up against the elite animal athletes! Bull riding, bronc riding and barrel racing...what more could anyone ask for!

We encourage our local community to get behind us to support the rotary initiative Tumbarumba2kokoda, holding a bbq to fundraise for local high school youths to participate in the monumental trek of the Kokoda trail.

Also again for 2017 we have designated our chosen charity to Snowy Hydro South Care, providing emergency life saving care to our region.

So please get out and support our event so we can help chanel vital funds into these much deserving organisations!

Its not very often we get the chance to slow down and recognise the crucial gears which turn the wheels of a community organisation, and very often we as people tend to overlook the hard yakka and volunteer effort it takes to put on a professional rodeo!

Today, we here at Rosewood Rodeo want to highlight and send a very special thanks to a certain community organisation who if we didnt receive the amount of support, and volunteer labour, our event would not have gotten off the ground! That organization is the Tumbarumba Rodeo Club.

From early beginnings in 2009 when it took semi load upon semi load to transport, a full portable arena and chutes to Rosewood, even today with the lending of the Tumbarumba Bucking Horses. Wether it be for rodeo events or schools to help up and coming local and surrounding, this organisation has always extended a helping hand. We thankyou ever so much and appreciate what you do for the sport of rodeo!

So as you walk down the street today, into your local businesses, charity organisation, event holder... take the time to stop and say thank you! For without these people or businesses contributing in such a way of support and generosity that they do, they would not be able to provide the outstanding facilities and events which make our town unique and beautiful!
